What is the the American Academy of Dermatology
The American Academy of Dermatology (also “Academy” and “AAD”), was founded in 1938 and is headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill.. The Academy is the largest, most influential, and most representative of all dermatologic associations. The AAD has a membership of17,000 dermatologists in the United States, Canada, and around the world.
