Greater Goods Dual-Head Stethoscope for Routine Physicals--a Review

Greater Goods Dual-Head Stethoscope Features a Classic Design for Routine Physicals Assessing Basic Heart and Lung Examinations

If you are in a health care position and need to do routine examinations on the heart and lungs, this Greater Goods stethoscope is is a well-made stethoscope exactly like the Amazon description says.

Like all stethoscopes, this one sort of pinches into your ears a bit uncomfortably, but this one features a diaphragm you can tune to allow you to hear a full range of frequencies. The rim is also non-chill rim, so it is more comfortable for patients during an examination.

The latex-free tubing is sturdy as is the rest of the stethoscope which is well made and well designed. Bonus: it comes with a replacement pair of eartips and an extra diaphragm.

This is a solid choice for a stethoscope for doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers and for home use. The Greater Goods Dual-Head Stethoscope is a good value for your money.

New Report from CDC: Nearly 6,000 People Infected with COVID After Getting Vaccinated

Some 5,800 people who received a coronavirus vaccine still caught the disease. 396 of them were hospitalized and 74 of the vaccinated people died.

New Report from CDC on COVID Vaccines

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has come out with an interesting recent report on how effective the new COVID-19 vaccines are for preventing Coronavirus. They aren't.

If you don't get vaccinated, you have a 1.4% chance of dying of COVID if you catch the disease. If you do get vaccinated and still catch coronavirus, you have a 1.23% chance of dying of COVID-19.

According to a news report on CNN. the CDC has reported that approximately 5,800 people who received a coronavirus vaccine still ultimately came down with the disease anyway. Of those 5,800, 396 of them (roughly 7 percent) were hospitalized with COVID-19. Out of that number,74 of the vaccinated people (or 1.23%) ultimately died from coronavirus.

In other words, if you don't get vaccinated and catch coronavirus, according to many experts, you have a 1.4% chance of dying of COVID. If you do get vaccinated and still catch coronavirus, you have a 1.23% chance of dying of COVID-19.

This raises the question of just how effective these coronavirus vaccines are and points to how ineffective any suggested "Vaccination Passports" would be.
