Healthy eating at the 31st Native American Indian Association Pow Wow & Festival - Nashville Skin, Health & Beauty Examiner

Healthy eating at the 31st Native American Indian Association Pow Wow & Festival

The 2012 Native American Indian Association Pow Wow and Fall Festival took place on Oct. 19 and 20 at Nashville's Long Hunter State Park. Native Americans from around the Nation gathered for the Tennessee Pow Wow to reunite with friends and family and to share part of their culture, including song, dance, crafts, jewelry, Indian dolls and food.

The day was slightly overcast and a little cool, but almost perfect weather for putting on sunscreen and spending the day outside enjoying the colorful sights, sounds and tastes.
