Maybelline Great Lash Mascara celebrates 40 years of great eyelashes
In 1971 Maybelline introduced a new mascara in a pink tube with a green cap known as Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. Over the years the round tube became rectangular, the pink shade became deeper, and the “serving size” perhaps a bit smaller, but Great Lash Mascara continued to sell at the rate of 1.7 tubes per second.
